VLC Media Player now available for Android

The most popular media player that can play almost anything has finally arrived on Android too. VideoLAN, the maker of VLC has finally launched the beta version for Android. [ Install VLC (beta) from Google Play ]

Apart from playing various formats, the player supports multi-tack audio and video with subtitles, has a home-screen widget for audio control without launching the app, and it supports headsets with in-line audio controls.
