Google has categorized these top and trending key terms as Searches, Images, Athletes, Events, People, Feature Films, TV Shows, Performing Artists, Consumer Electronics, Airlines and Google+ Hashtags.
In the Trending searches category Whitney Houston, Gangnam Style, and Hurricane Sandy claims the top three positions respectively and this is followed by iPad3, Diablo3, Kate Middleton, Olympics 2012, Amanda Todd, Michael Clark Duncan and BBB12.
In the Consumer Electronics Category iPad 3, Samsung Galaxy S3 and iPad Mini claims the top spot followed by Nexus 7, Galaxy Note 2, Play Station, iPad 4, Microsoft Surface, Kindle Fire and Nokia Lumia 920.
