Ubislate 7+ and 7C will be launched on 26th April, 2012

The most awaited low cost Android Tablet, the Ubislate 7+ has finally got a launch date. The Tablet will be launched tomorrow that is on 26th April, 2012. In addition to Ubislate 7+, Datawind has also announced the launch of the high end tablet Ubislate 7C tomorrow.

The two tablets will be commercially available from tomorrow in New Delhi. As for pricing, Ubislate 7+ will be available for Rs. 2,999 and Ubislate 7C will be available for Rs. 3,999.
The major difference between the two tablets is the touch screen type. Ubislate 7+ will have a resistive touchscreen whereas Ubislate 7C will have a multi touch capacitive touchscreen which will have much better responsiveness.

Tie-up with Indian Express, Getjar and Yahoo

Before launch, Datawind has made a tie-up with the Indian Express and the two tablets will come Preloaded with the Indian Express Application that will keep readers with up to date with latest news, Intelligent analysis and opinions from some of country’s finest columnists.

In addition to the tie-up with Indian Express, the company also has made a tie-up with Yahoo to provide Yahoo services like Yahoo Homepage, Yahoomail and Yahoo Cricket on the tablets. Datawind has partnered with GetJar, which will be pre-installed in the Tablets.

50 Percent Discount on Annual Subscription for Indian Express

Not just online, the benefits are offline too: As a complementary offer, Ubislate 7+ or the 7C tablet buyers will get a 50 per cent discount on annual subscription for The Indian Express and The Financial Express.
