How to compare two XML files to find differences visually

Visually compare two XML files to locate the exact locations where the editing has been done. Editing an XML template feels good until an error occur and you are in a hurry of searching the location of the code change. Manually making a side by side comparison is a tedious process and keeping track of each and every changes consumes a lot of time. Instead using a comparison and merging tool would be the smartest way to locate edits.

WinMerge is a free tool that lets you to compare and merge XML documents. Here is an example screenshot in comparing XML blogger template “TechZine”. Here there is a comparison between the Techzine Blogger Templates without and with sliders. The location of the code differences are highlighted in the “Location Pane”
