Google gets into the Domain Name Registration Business

Maybe Google will be the next new competition for Godaddy. Google has launched it very own domain name registration service called Google Domains. Like other giant Domain Name registrars like Godaddy and Namecheap, Google has also listed a set of attractive features for domain name registration and domain name transfer.

Google has also partnered with  online drag and drop website builders like Shopify, Squarespace, Weebly and Wix.

However the service is still not open to the public, you can register yourself to get an invite to use Google Domains beta.

 Features Offered:

* Convincing price and Free Private Registration: $12/year (Godaddy: 12.99$/year and additional 7.99$ for Private registration)

* 100 branded business emails

* Domain forwarding

* 100 Sub domains

* Fast DNS lookup with Google’s DNS servers

* Domain Locking
